Yesterday was the best day I’ve had in what seems like too long. I gave Joe his birthday present, special edition of A Bout De Souffle, with a watercolor of mine tucked away inside. We walked around Des Moines for awhile, enjoying the nice weather, & we ended up going out for a feast of Indian cuisine, stuffing ourselves with four different kinds of naan, chicken vindaloo & curry,...

Conversation with PosiThom re:Grammar
PosiThom: We're probably 100% better than everyone else.
Me: Uh, "probably" has no place being in that sentence.
PosiThom: Damn. Must've snuck in. These sentences have been going to hell ever since these god damn adverbs showed up & started taking all our jobs, THEY AREN'T LIKE US.

PosiThom: Next thing you know they will be giving all the jobs to verbs & BAM, every sentence ends in a preposition!
PosiThom: WON'T SOMEONE THINK OF THE NOUNS!
Me: Goddamn those liberal red grammies!
Me: It's cool though, I heard Steven Segal became a sheriff so he could keep those verbs & preps behind the fences.
PosiThom: Last time I checked this was America & I can conjugate how I damn well please!
PosiThom: I almost crashed my car that made me laugh so hard.
Me: That Segal, man... He's TCB all the way.
PosiThom: Every time I think we can't get more ridiculous, we do.

All of my art supplies spread put across the floor until my desk is built, & leftover Django’s in the fridge from Joe’s...
